About the exhibition:
Exhibition at Seidel City Contemporary Art Gallery and Art Lab featuring Natascha Seideneck and a Tribute to Steve Trijilo.
Join us on Saturday, October 26, for the opening of Decades: Fashion Photography from the Archives + A Denver Icon A Tribute to Steve Trujilo. This Exhibition features photographs spanning the late 1980s to the early 2000 and are a testament of experiences and collaborations between photographers, models (mostly friends really!), designers, makeup artists and hairdressers. Using the then industrial back drop of Denver we experimented, played and documented. The work was not particularly about commercialization, and this gave us a certain freedom of expression. It is as much about culture, time and society as it is about fashion. In the early 1990’s Steve Tujillio came into my life who is still to this day, the most creative person I have ever known. You will see many of his signature styles in the photographs, whether it’s hair, his fashion design, interior design or jewelry. This exhibition is dedicated to him and all of you that were and are a part of this special community.
The opening reception is on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Gallery visits are by appointment only. Appointments can be made through our website or by emailing info@seidelcity.com.
